Promotion Terms

$500 rate match / beat guarantee terms

These promotion terms apply to any offer on our website described as a “Rate Match,” “Rate Beat,” “$500 Guarantee,” “Free Rate Review,” or similar promotional review.
Important
This promotion is a limited commercial offer subject to verification, eligibility requirements, and a fair comparison of your current effective rate and total monthly cost against one or more available Tampa Bay Pay-supported solutions.

1. Purpose of the promotion

The purpose of this promotion is to allow eligible businesses to submit a recent merchant processing statement and related cost information so Tampa Bay Pay can compare the business’s current effective rate and known processing-related monthly costs against one or more solutions available through Tampa Bay Pay and its partners.

2. Eligibility

  • Available only to legal business entities or sole proprietors operating in the United States.
  • Submission must be made by the business owner or an authorized representative.
  • Business must submit a recent, complete, and accurate statement and supporting information.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

3. Not a sweepstakes or game of chance

This promotion is a business comparison offer based on objective criteria. It is not random, not chance-based, and not intended to be a sweepstakes, contest, or game promotion.

4. Required submission materials

  • Your most recent complete merchant processing statement from the last 60 days.
  • All pages showing rates, fees, processing mix, effective rate, and totals.
  • Disclosure of known related software, gateway, terminal, POS, lease, PCI, and recurring fees.
  • Any additional information reasonably requested for verification.

5. Comparison standard

Tampa Bay Pay may compare effective processing rate, monthly processing-related costs, disclosed recurring software and gateway costs, equipment or hardware costs when relevant, and the merchant’s operational setup where reasonably necessary to complete a fair comparison.

6. Exclusions

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, cropped, altered, stale, or misleading submissions.
  • Failure to disclose related software, gateway, lease, or platform fees.
  • Pricing that cannot be reasonably verified.
  • Temporary, subsidized, or one-off pricing concessions that cannot be fairly compared.
  • Unsupported, prohibited, sanctioned, or unusually high-risk use cases.
  • Duplicate, internal, spam, test, competitor, or unauthorized submissions.

7. No automatic right to payment

Submission of a statement does not automatically entitle any person or business to receive $500. Any promotional payment remains subject to full verification, completion of our comparison, and Tampa Bay Pay’s determination that we cannot match or beat the current effective rate and total monthly cost using reasonably comparable solutions available through us.

8. Timing

Most reviews are targeted for completion within 24–72 business hours, but this is an estimate only, not a guarantee. Missing information, weekends, holidays, underwriting questions, or complex reviews may delay completion.

9. One promotion per business

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the promotion is limited to one review and one potential promotional payment per business, per ownership group, and per 12-month period.

10. Promotional payment terms

  • Any payment may be issued only to the legal business entity or verified owner/authorized representative.
  • We may require identity verification, tax information, or proof of authority before issuing payment.
  • Payment method, timing, and form are determined by Tampa Bay Pay in its discretion.
  • Any tax reporting obligations are the recipient’s responsibility.

11. Reservation of rights

We reserve the right to verify all submitted information, request additional documentation, interpret and apply these promotional terms in good faith, deny eligibility for unverifiable or abusive submissions, and modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time, subject to applicable law.

12. No waiver

Failure to enforce any part of these promotion terms in one instance does not waive our right to enforce them in any other instance.
