Do I need to buy hardware?
Usually not. For SwipeSimple, we provide a free mobile card swiper that plugs into a phone or tablet. For tap-to-pay on iPhone or Android, no hardware is required at all. If you need a more rugged handheld terminal for field crews (like a Dejavoo P1 or PAX A920 Pro), we typically provide that at no upfront cost for qualifying merchants.
Can I use mobile payments as a backup if my main POS goes down?
Yes — and a lot of our merchants set it up specifically for that reason. Cellular signal works when WiFi doesn't. A mobile payment app on a manager's phone is a reliable backup when your terminal freezes, internet drops, or hardware fails. We can configure your mobile setup to share the same merchant account as your main system.
How fast does the money hit my account?
